We understand the importance of your privacy. Therefore, we have established this Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Policy") to clarify how we collect, use, protect, and share your personal information. Please read this Policy carefully before using the Application. By using the Application, you indicate that you have fully understood and agreed to all the terms of this Policy.

1. Information Collection

We may collect the following information or request certain permissions:

• Device Information:

  (1) To identify your device ID, prevent malicious programs and fraud, enhance service security, and ensure the quality and efficiency of operations, we will collect your device information (including IMEI, device serial number, OAID, MEID, Android ID, IMSI, GUID, MAC address, SIM card serial number, etc.), information about installed applications, or information about running processes.
  (2) When using the application, to adapt to your device status, we will call the device's gravity and accelerometer sensor information to identify the landscape or portrait status of your device.
  (3) When you share or receive shared information, we need to locally access your clipboard to read content such as passwords, sharing codes, and links to enable features or services like jumping, sharing, and activity linkage.
  (4) To achieve cleaning and acceleration functions, we will request storage permissions to access external storage information (SD card data) to check the phone's CPU, memory, and SD card status.

• Usage Data: Including operation logs (requiring your explicit authorization) and application usage duration.
• Location Information: With your consent, we may collect your location information via GPS, Bluetooth, and other technologies to provide location-based services (such as syncing local weather information to Bluetooth devices). We use ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION and ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION to scan nearby Bluetooth devices.
• Storage Permissions: Allow the application to access files and folders on the device for data reading and storage. This is crucial for syncing device data to the phone or cloud and restoring data from the phone or cloud to the device. Includes READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE and WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE for file read and write operations.
• Camera Permissions: Allow the application to use the device's camera function. This may be used for QR code recognition in Bluetooth device applications, enabling users to connect via device information identified from QR codes, which requires camera permission CAMERA.
• Network Permissions: Allow the application to communicate over the network, including sending and receiving data. This is crucial for the application to obtain data from the cloud, update device firmware, perform remote control operations, and transmit voice and text data for AI interactive functions. Related permissions: INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, ACCESS_WIFI_STATE, CHANGE_WIFI_STATE.
• Bluetooth Related Permissions:

  BLUETOOTH, BLUETOOTH_ADMIN, BLUETOOTH_SCAN, BLUETOOTH_CONNECT: Discover, scan, pair and connect Bluetooth smart speaker devices. BLUETOOTH_ADVERTISE: Send Bluetooth broadcast signal to expose device and realize fast pairing with nearby audio equipment.

• Read Phone Contact Information and Call Records: Some devices that support calling functions need to display phone contact information and call records to facilitate answering and making calls on the device, corresponding permission: READ_CONTACTS.
• Push Notifications: To ensure that devices can receive broadcast notifications from the client when the application is closed or running in the background, the application must use the auto-start capability. There will be a certain frequency of broadcasts sent by the system to wake up the application for auto-start or associated start behaviors, which is necessary for the functionality and services provided. When you open content-related push messages, after obtaining your explicit consent, the relevant content will be opened. Without your consent, there will be no associated starts. Related permissions: POST_NOTIFICATIONS, DISABLE_KEYGUARD.
• Microphone & Audio Related Permissions:

  With your separate explicit consent, we request microphone access exclusively for AI oral English practice, real-time AI dialogue and speech-to-text transcription.
  1. RECORD_AUDIO, FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MICROPHONE: Capture voice audio while the App is foreground or running background audio service for AI speech recognition and oral correction; persistent recording notification will be displayed during active voice capture to inform you.
  2. MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS: Adjust system audio volume, audio routing and Bluetooth headset audio channel to guarantee clear voice recording during AI oral training.
  3. READ_MEDIA_AUDIO: Read local audio files stored on your device for playback and audio data backup of AI conversation records.
  All voice recordings will only be transmitted to AI service providers to generate AI responses and speech conversion results, and will not be used for irrelevant purposes without your extra approval.

• Foreground Service Permissions:

  We apply multiple foreground service permissions to maintain stable core features without being killed by the system:
  • FOREGROUND_SERVICE / FOREGROUND_SERVICE_CONNECTED_DEVICE: Persist Bluetooth smart speaker connection, sync device data in background.
  • FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK: Keep audio playback function active when switching other Apps.
  • FOREGROUND_SERVICE_REMOTE_MESSAGING: Support background push notification receiving and display device reminder messages.

• Background & Power Optimization Permissions:

  • REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS, WAKE_LOCK: Prevent system from stopping Bluetooth connection and AI voice recording service when screen locked or power saving mode enabled.
  • RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: Auto restore Bluetooth device connection and push service after device reboot.
  • SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM: Realize timing reminder function for smart device alerts.
  • VIBRATE: Trigger vibration prompt when receiving device message or AI reminder.

• System Special Permissions:

  • SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW: Display floating operation window for quick device control without switching back to App main page.
  • WRITE_SETTINGS, MEDIA_CONTENT_CONTROL, BIND_MEDIA_BUTTON_RECEIVER: Adjust media playback parameters and system audio settings to match Bluetooth speaker output effect; these permissions will not collect any personal private data and only take effect when user manually opens media playback function.
  • ACCESS_LOCATION_EXTRA_COMMANDS: Assist Bluetooth location auxiliary scanning to improve device matching efficiency.
  • BROADCAST_STICKY, BROADCAST_RECEIVER: Receive system broadcast to synchronize device running status in real time.

1.6 AI Function Data Collection

Our App provides AI oral English training, generative AI dialogue and speech transcription services powered by Doubao (YunQue) Large Language Model. Relevant national filing information for the AI model and algorithm is fully disclosed as below:

Only after you explicitly authorize microphone and AI interaction permissions will we collect and securely transmit the following data to ByteDance’s YunQue AI service provider to deliver corresponding AI features:

• Voice audio data captured via device microphone for oral English correction and voice transcription;
• All text content you manually input in AI chat boxes, together with AI-generated reply texts;
• Short-term dialogue context data to maintain continuous logical conversation with AI assistant.

All voice and text interactive data will be encrypted during transmission and temporary storage. The YunQue AI model shall only process such data to fulfill the AI functions you actively trigger. We will never reuse your AI dialogue records for separate commercial marketing, model training or other unrelated scenarios without your additional written consent. You can clear all local chat history records at any time within the App settings page.

All text and speech content generated by YunQue AI will carry a clear on-screen label inside the App interface stating "AI Generated Content, For Reference Only". AI output may contain inaccuracies, logical deviations or biased information; we take no liability for any decisions made solely relying on AI-generated results.

1.7 Third-Party SDK and Local Component Disclosure

This Application integrates multiple third-party open-source libraries and self-developed native components to implement core functions. The data collection and processing rules of each component are disclosed as follows:

• Location Service SDK We integrate geolocator and geocoding libraries. After your explicit authorization, the App will obtain your device’s geographic location to scan and match nearby Bluetooth smart hardware devices. Location data will only be processed locally on your device and will not be uploaded to any third-party servers.
• Audio and Video Processing Components Audio recording, speech encoding, audio playback and video compression functions rely on FFmpeg underlying native libraries, just_audio, audio_session and related audio plugins. The microphone will only be activated when you actively use the AI oral English evaluation and voice dialogue functions. Recorded voice audio is only used for local format conversion and AI pronunciation correction, and will not be permanently stored by us. All audio decoding and encoding calculations are completed locally on your mobile device.
• Device Permission & Information Collection SDK
  1. permission_handler: Requests Android system permissions including microphone, storage, background floating window, background running authority, etc. All permissions require your manual confirmation and can be revoked in your phone system settings at any time.
  2. device_info_plus: Reads basic device model, system version and hardware information solely for application compatibility adaptation and crash troubleshooting, without collecting unique device identifiers for user tracking.
• Bluetooth Hardware Communication SDK A series of self-developed Bluetooth BLE SDKs (joygem_bluetooth, recording_card_ble and other hardware dedicated libraries) are embedded to discover smart speakers, wireless earphones, charging cases and power banks. The App will obtain Bluetooth device MAC addresses and firmware version information to establish Bluetooth connection and perform device OTA upgrade. Such Bluetooth device data will not be transmitted to external servers.
• Local Database Storage Library We use Realm local database to store your AI chat history, learning records, bound Bluetooth device configuration and App preferences. All data is stored locally on your device and will not be synchronized to the cloud automatically without your active operation.
• Network and Log Tools Dio and Retrofit are used for network requests to call Generative AI service interfaces. Log tools only generate debug logs locally and will not collect or upload your personal sensitive data.
• Other Auxiliary Local Processing Libraries Image selection, file parsing, cache management, UI components, encryption, clipboard, sharing, routing and state management libraries only perform local computing on the device, and will not actively collect, track or upload any personal user information.

All third-party libraries mentioned above only execute limited functions declared in the application. No redundant collection, tracking or unauthorized transmission of user personal information will be conducted.

2. Use of Information

• Service Provision: To provide and improve application features including Bluetooth device management, equipment firmware upgrade, AI oral practice and AI dialogue services. We use foreground service, battery optimization exemption and system media permissions only to maintain stable Bluetooth device linkage and uninterrupted AI voice recording experience.
• Security and Maintenance: To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, security risks, and illegal activities; implement content safety filtering for AI dialogue interactions to block harmful, violent, pornographic or misleading generated content.

3. Information Security

• Encryption Storage: We use reasonable security technologies and procedures to protect your personal information. All data transmitted to third-party AI platforms adopts end-to-end encryption transmission.
• Access Control: We strictly limit internal employee access to your personal information.
• Third-party Services: If we collaborate with third parties, we will require them to comply with the same data protection standards, sign formal data processing agreements and restrict their data usage scope to authorized service scenarios only.

5. Information Sharing

• Legal Requirements: We may need to share your personal information in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, government orders, or judicial procedures.
• Partners: To provide you with richer services, we may share necessary information with partners, but only to the extent required for specific features or services. We will require partners to comply with the same data protection standards. We will share your voice and text AI dialogue data exclusively with ByteDance Volcengine for the operation of YunQue AI model services, and the third party shall comply with equivalent data security and privacy protection standards as stipulated in this Policy.
• Non-Personal Information: We may use your non-personal information (such as anonymized statistical data) for market research, data analysis, and other purposes to improve our products and services.

6. Your Rights

• Access and Correction: You have the right to access and correct your personal information held by us.
• Withdrawal of Consent: For information processed based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Note that withdrawing consent for microphone or AI data processing will disable all AI oral practice and chat features of the Application.
• Deletion: In specific circumstances, you have the right to request the deletion of your personal information, including local AI chat records stored on your device.
• Opt-out Rights: You can easily stop all information collection by the Application by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes available on your mobile device or through the mobile application marketplace or network.

7. Changes and Notifications

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason, especially when we add new AI functional modules and adjust data processing rules. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by publishing the revised Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy regularly. Continued use of the Application constitutes your acceptance of all changes.
